That entry Polaroid turns would be ready to launch a new 3D tablet. The news comes by leaving a certain astonishment since the company did not make official announcements at CES Las Vegas 2012 yet it seems that the tablet is ready and that is rather interesting, together with an introductory price competitive. What has emerged in the last few hours, the new digital tablet of Polaroid would be equipped with the Android release 4 and 3D capacitive display.
Polaroid 9.7 Inches 3D Tablet
The configuration includes an Boxchip processor (ARM Cortex) paired with 512 MB of internal memory and 4 GB of storage. Power is entrusted to a lithium-ion battery from 6,000 mAh, while connectivity includes a USB port, an HDMI output for high definition and a memory card reader. The tablet Polaroid should be distributed in Europe at a price of 249 euro. Although the tablet has a module WiFi 802.11 b/g/n and a built-in GPS receiver, it does not have Bluetooth connectivity.
We do not have many details. We know, however, that the device has a weight of about 650 grams and measuring 244 mm, width 190 mm deep and 14 mm thick. A quick analysis of the dimensions would assume a model from 9.7 inches with resolution of 1,024 x 768 pixels. It is not ruled out, however, that can be a model with diagonal slightly lower. Beyond these considerations, you can imagine that, disregarding the 3D functionality, it’s a low-cost tablet should not worry too much competition.
